We use a combination of automated scraping and RSS feed ingestion. Our scraper visits major retailer websites and Slickdeals RSS feeds every 6 hours to discover new price drops, clearance events, and limited-time offers. Each deal is automatically categorized, priced, and checked before it appears on the site. This means you get a single, up-to-date feed of deals from across the web without having to visit each retailer individually.

Yes. When we ingest a deal, we cross-reference the listed price against the actual retailer product page to confirm accuracy. Deals that pass this check receive a "Verified" badge. If we can’t confirm a price — for example, if the retailer page is temporarily unavailable — the deal is flagged as "Unverified" so you know to double-check before buying. We never intentionally list a price that doesn’t match the retailer.

Yes, some links on Spaffin are affiliate links. When you click one of these links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. This helps us cover the costs of running the site. We will never prioritize a deal because it pays us more, and we will never hide a better deal because it doesn’t have an affiliate program. Every alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe link so you can opt out at any time.

Absolutely. Visit the Submit page to share a deal you’ve found. Provide the product URL, the deal price, and any relevant details like a coupon code. Submitted deals are reviewed before being published to make sure they meet our quality standards — real discounts, active links, and accurate pricing. If your deal checks out, it goes live on the site for everyone to see.

We aggregate coupon codes from multiple sources, including retailer promo pages and third-party coupon databases. Each coupon shows a success rate based on community feedback — after you try a code, you can report whether it worked or not, which helps other users know which codes are still active. Coupons are automatically linked to relevant deals from the same retailer, and stale codes are deactivated when they’re no longer seen or consistently reported as expired.

These summaries are generated using web search data and reviewed by a human before publishing. They’re meant to give you a quick sense of whether a deal is worth it — not to replace in-depth reviews from dedicated review sites.
